Meeting called to order at 7:00 pm.
Reviewed Minutes – MMS to approve the minutes of January 2023, approved 5-0, MMS to approve the minutes of January 2024 as amended to correct Terms that will expire from Larry Essenberg and Al Drenth in Jan 2024 to Jerry Klooster and Mary Neer to expire in Jan 2024. Also correct the next meeting date to March 21, 2024. Approved 5-0 as amended.
Old Business – No old business.
New Business – Ken reviewed with group the Planning Commissions Annual Report, updated to include list of current members. MMS to approve the Planning Commissions Annual Report as updated. Approved 5-0. Ken reviewed the Master Plan, need a few updates, will review this at the next meeting and update. Reviewed the Village of Ellsworth Guide to Development, one stop location to get info, updated the contact information and dates, mostly information about zoning. Would like to add the Zoning map to the Guide. MMS to approve the Village of Ellsworth Guide to Development with the addition of the Zoning Map. Approved 5-0. Ken reviewed the Village of Ellsworth Internal Review Checklist, need to update anyplace that is says Village Administrator Assistant needs to be changed to Village Clerk. MMS to approve the Ellsworth Internal Review Checklist with these changes. Approved 5-0. Ken reviewed the Planning Commission Orientation – this is for new members with links to information on the Planning Commission, discussed adding a Welcome packet for new members that would include the Master Plan and Zoning Ordinance along with past minutes. MMS to approve the Ellsworth Planning Commission Orientation Document with the adding of the Welcome Packet. Approved 5-0. Ken reviewed the Village of Ellsworth Capital Improvements Program, would like everyone to review and see if anything needs to be updated for the next meeting.
Discussed changing next meeting date from May 9 to May 16 as Ken has a conflict with the 9th, Meeting date changed to May 16th 2024.
Review Terms for Jerry Klooster and Mary Neer as they expired January 2024. MMS to renew Jerry Klooster and Mary Neer terms to January 2026. Approved 5-0.
