Meeting called to order by Campbell at 7:00 PM
1. Motion by Rasmussen, Sowers to accept the August 13, 2018 minutes as presented. CARRIED 6-0
PUBLIC INPUT: Janice Drost has planted bulbs at the Community Square and will be planting some at the Veterans Memorial.
DEPARMENTAL REPORTS:
Police: Morris gave monthly police report
DPW: Verizon is still working on underground cable to Atwood.
Streets: N/A
COMMITTEE REPORTS:
Planning Commission: Will have meeting September 13, 2018.
Parks and Recreation: Woodenshoe Campground revenue is close to budget. Attendants will return next season. An improvement will be made to increase power supply to park. Rates will remain the same for the 2019 season.
DISCUSSION:
a. Trees in front of Post Office will be trimmed.
b. Paddle Antrim will kick off Thursday, September 13, 2018 at 5:30 at River Park.
c. Redevelopment Ready Community (RRC) is a work in progress.
d. DDA meet August 27 and now needs to form a Citizens Advisory Committee.
e. Discussed rezoning Main Street from Church Street South to Village Limits.
f. Sanitary Sewer Feasibility – Waiting for environmental study.
