Present: Campbell, Boss, Sowers, Spearing, and Potter.

Absent: Stewart, Kammerer

Others: Duane Arnott, William Gardner, John Morris, Vicki Rood-Morris, Gregg McCallum, Jerry Rasmussen

Meeting called to order by Campbell at 7:05 PM

1. Motion by Spearing, Boss to amend the agenda in the action items to fill the vacancy of the trustee position. CARRIED 4-0

2. Motion by Boss,Sowers to accept the September 14, 2015 minutes as presented. CARRIED 4-0

PUBLIC INPUT: Discussion by Arnott concerning the archery program

DEPARMENTAL REPORTS:

Police: Process moving ahead to purchase security cameras for the Village

DPW: Clyde Johnson from Gosling Czubak will be at December meeting to update Village on water

project

Streets: One way sign to be placed at the alley way north of the Front Porch for all traffic to go west

Parks/Recreation: Revenue for Wooden Shoe Park for the 2015 season was $35,378.00

d. Update sale of 9627 Lake Street – Need to set date for closing

f. Wooden Shoe Holiday Fest – December 9, 2015

g. Shiver Fest – Tabled

h. Need to purchase new snow blower for tractor and also new compressor

ACTION ITEMS:

3. Motion by Sowers, Spearing to approve appointing Gregg McCallum to fill the trustee vacancy. CARRIED 4-0

4. Motion by Sowers, McCallum to approve Halloween Hours for the Village of Ellsworth of 5:00 to 8:00 PM October 31, 2015. CARRIED 5-0

5. Budget Amendments N/A

6. Motion by Spearing, Boss to approve bid of West Michigan Instrumentation Systems, Inc. to install a Radio Telemetry to the Municipal Water System. CARRIED 5-0

7. Motion by Boss, Sowers to take action on the 9283 Main Street Ordinance Violation. CARRIED 5-0

8. Motion by Spearing, McCallum to authorize the President to sign a contract with a landscape company to do the perimeter landscape at the Community Square Project. CARRIED 5-0

9. Motion by Boss, McCallum to approve Ed and Hertha Green as the park attendants for the 2016 season and to establish 2016 rates as follows: Modern sites- $25.00 Daily, $150.00 Weekly, $375.00 Monthly, Rustic sites- $15.00 Daily, No weekly or monthly, $3.00 per person over 4, $2.00 per person to use the shower if not a tenant and $5.00 to use the dump station if not a tenant. CARRIED 5-0

10. Motion by Boss, Sowers to pay the bills. CARRIED 5-0

11. Motion by Boss, Spearing to adjourn at 8:10 PM. CARRIED 5-0
