Present: Campbell, Boss, Sowers, Spearing, McCallum, Rasmussen, and Potter

Absent: Stewart, Drenth

Others: Heidi MacNichol, Officer Pratt, Wendy Warren. Antrim Conservation District

Meeting called to order by Campbell at 7:02 PM

1. Motion by Rasmussen, Boss to accept the June 10, 2019 minutes as presented. CARRIED 6-0

PUBLIC INPUT: Wendy Warren passed out literature and talked about soil erosion projects, healthy lakes program, recycling signage and nonrecyclable brochures

DEPARMENTAL REPORTS:

Police: Sheriff Deputy Pratt discussed with the council about Fireworks Ordinance

DPW: Received a bid on repairs to streets done by water line repairs

Streets: Radar speed sign has arrived and will be in place shortly

COMMITTEE REPORTS:

Planning Commission: Meets Thursday, July 11

Parks and Recreation: Summer Program has been completed successfully; Wi Fi will be completed shortly

DISCUSSION:

a. Paddle Antrim all set for September ; village to apply to Paddle Antrim for a grant for a site plan for

the Community Park to make it universally accessible.

b. Pig Roast Rap Up; Need more volunteers and committee members. Poor weather caused lower

turnout but the event was still successful.

c. Reviewed 2018-19 Village Audit

d. Grant for Waster Water System is getting closer

ACTION ITEMS:

2. Motion by Rasmussen/McCallum to approve the Budget Amendments CARRIED 6-0

3. Motion by Boss/Spearing to approve street repairs caused by water line breaks CARRIED 6-0

4. Motion by McCallum/Spearing to accept the bid by Wolverine Power Systems to update the electrical portion of water systems backup generator. CARRIED 6-0

5. Motion Spearing/Sowers to the President’s appointment of Marcie Palajac to replace Ron Boss on the DDA Board of Directors. CARRIED 6-0

6. Motion by Campbell/Rasmussen to approve Ordinance 0708 of 2019 Fireworks Ordinance.

CARRIED 6-0

7. Motion by Rasmussen/Boss to Approve payment of the bills CARRIED 6-0

8. Motions by Campbell/Boss to adjourn CARRIED 6-0
