The Finance Committee presented the 2024-2025 budget. A short discussion on the budget was held.

Meeting called to order by Spearing at 7:10 PM
- Motion by Bennett, McCallum to accept the January 08, 2024, Minutes as presented. CARRIED. 6-0
PUBLIC INPUT: Discussed the need for security cameras at the recycling center.
DEPARMENTAL REPORTS:
- Police:Observing high traffic area around the Gold Nugget.
- DPW:N/A
- Streets:N/A
COMMITTEE REPORT
- Planning Commission:Did not meet.
- Finance Committee:2024-2025 Budget was discussed with Council members.
- DDA:The new logo/direction signs have been put in place.
DISCUSSION:
- 2024 Pig Roast – June 14 and 15 2024.
- Wastewater Sewer Project – No updates.
- Raise limit on Village credit card – More businesses are requesting credit card payments.
- Police facilities – Further discussion at March 2024 meeting.
- Seed Grant Award – Received a grant in the amount of $7,000.00 to hire a consultant to aid in the planning of ways to improve the parks in the Village.
- Movies in the Park – Met with SAFE members from Ellsworth Community School to discuss their plans for sponsoring several movies at the pavilion this summer.
- Consumers and Ellsworth Farmers Exchange – Need to talk with the manager of EFX about the way to proceed with requesting that Consumers put in new power lines on the EFX property.

- Motion bySowers, A. Drenth to send Antrim County Board of Commissioners a letter requesting that they install security cameras at the recycling center. CARRIED 6-0
- Motion by Dhillon, McCallum to pay the bills.CARRIED 6-0
