REGULAR MEETING

Present: Campbell, Boss, Sowers, Spearing, McCallum, Palajac and Drenth
Absent: Stewart, Potter
Others: Ellen Trimper, Mark Trimper, Sandy Davies, Jerry Rasmussen and Chief Ben Herrick.
Meeting called to order by Campbell at 6:20pm.
- Motion by Sowers, Boss to accept July 11, 2022 regular minutes as presented. CARRIED 6-0
PUBLIC INPUT:
DEPARMENTAL REPORTS:
- Police: Received a $5,000 grant to purchase a body camera. Continued discussion regarding the speeding within the Village. Other towns and villages in the area are experiencing the same problem.
- DPW: Reliability study is close to completion.
- Streets: The new guardrails are being installed in the area of the new paving.
COMMITTEE REPORTS:
- DDA: The ribbon cutting, donor recognition and reception for the Community Square will be held Wednesday, August 10, 2022.
- Parks and Recreation: The new picnic tables for the campground have been delivered.
- Planning Commission: The Planning Commission approved the variance requested by the Trimpers.
DISCUSSION:
- Paddle Antrim – Continuing with plans for their event this year.
- Wastewater project – has been submitted to the USDA.
ACTION ITEMS:
- Motion by Boss, McCallum to approve our prepay with Ellsworth Farmers Exchange in the amount of $2,000.00 CARRIED 6-0
- Motion by McCallum, Spearing to approve the budget amendments. CARRIED 6-0
- Motion by McCallum, Spearing to approve the variance for Trimpers approved by the ZBA. CARRIED 6-0
- Motion by Sowers, Palajac to approve the bills. CARRIED 6-0
- Motion by Campbell, McCallum to adjourn at 7:35pm. CARRIED 6-0
