PUBLIC MEETING

BANKS TOWNSHIP HALL

FEBRUARY 24, 2020

Present: Boss, Sowers, Spearing, McCallum, Rasmussen, Drenth

Absent: Campbell, Stewart, Potter

Others: Lacey McLean, Francis Reed, Jim Hersha, Ken Groesser, Dave Heeres, Julie Waterman, Jennifer Hodges

Meeting called to order by Boss at 11:00 AM

DISCUSSION:

1. Jennifer Hodges from Gourdie-Fraser, Inc. reviewed the purpose of the meeting. She gave a brief review of the sewer project. She discussed funding options with USDA and estimated costs to each property owner and the Village.

There were questions by those in attendance as to how the lagoons would be maintained.  There were also questions on what the cost will be for each property owner.

ACTION ITEMS:

1. Motion by Spearing, Rasmussen to move forward with submitting the application for financial assistance with the U.S Department of Agriculture, Rural Development for sanitary system improvements within the Village of Ellsworth. CARRIED 5-0

2. Motion by Spearing, Sowers to adjourn at 11:10AM.  CARRIED 5-0
