Meeting called to order by Boss at 7:25 PM
1. Motion by Rasmussen, Sowers to accept the January 10, 2018 minutes as presented. CARRIED. 4-0

DEPARMENTAL REPORTS:
Police: N/A

Streets: Non-operating street lights have been reported to Consumers Power
COMMITTEE REPORT:
Planning Commission: Reviewed Capital Improvement Plan at last meeting.
Finance Committee: Reviewed the 2018-19 budget.
DISCUSSION:
a. 2018 Pig Roast/Fire Works. Betsy Randall has been hired as the coordinator. Horton Creek is planning a benefit concert for the Front Porch.
b. Verizon’s Zoning Permit Application. Their permit has been issued.
c. Village MOD Survey. Still short a few surveys. Several members are once again personally contacting some residents that have not turned in surveys.
d. Capital Improvement Program. There will be a public hearing directly before the March 12, 2018 meeting and approval will follow at the regular March 12, 2018 meeting.
e. Chamber award to the Village. Scott Sowers accepted the Renaissance Award from the East Jordan Chamber of Commerce on behalf of the Village at their annual Chamber of Commerce Dinner. The award was in recognition of the completion of the Ellsworth Community Square.
f. Sale of Old Water Works Update. Grand Traverse Pallet has submitted a purchase agreement which will now go to the Village attorney for review.

2. Motion by Rasmussen, Spearing to approve the 2018-2019 Budget. CARRIED: 4-0
3. Motion by Spearing, Rasmussen to approve Resolution 02122018 in regard to the Ellsworth/Banks Township 2018 Recreation Plan. CARRIED 4-0
4. Motion by Sowers, Spearing to approve the purchase of a John Deere Z97DR Commercial Tractor ($11,922.68). JD 2025R Utility Tractor ($13,430.23), JD 47 inch Quick-Hitch Two Stage Snow Blower ($3,079.92), and JD Mid Mount Side Discharge Mower ($2,162.15) for a total of $30,594.98 of which a portion will be financed through Charlevoix State Bank. CARRIED 4-0
5. Motion by Rasmussen, Spearing to pay the bills. CARRIED 4-0
6. Motion by Rasmussen, Sowers to adjourn at 7:45 PM. CARRIED 4-0.
