Image for which we have ample funds. The signs will be installed in the Spring. The logo is

was seconded by Sundelius.
Wooden Shoe Holiday Festival December 7: It was suggested that The Wooden Shoe
Festival be scaled down to a tree lighting, music by Pine Winds Band, hot chocolate and
cookies. The name has been changed to Ellsworth Community Christmas on the Square. The
time will be 6:00 p.m. on December 7. The citizen of the year will light the tree.
Trunk or Treat: Spearing handed out a sheet with the schedule of events. The word needs to
get out. Campbell will look into getting bistro lights to light the pavilion. A site plan will be
drawn up. There will be a meeting at 3:00 p.m. on October 31 at the pavilion to shore up final
details.
DRAFT
Village President’s Report (Hugh Campbell): The sewage project has been accepted. He is
hoping for a 75% grant. The Village has sold the old dump property. The Elk River Chain of
Lakes model report is out. Our policeman (Ben) will be leaving to go to Dearborn. There are still
T-shirts to be handed out to those who donated to the Square. Spearing said we need a plan to
let those who didn’t receive their donation know that they can pick them up. Spearing
