MONDAY, MARCH 27, 2023 BANKS TOWNSHIP HALL
Meeting Minutes
Meeting was called to order at 5:01 p.m. by Mary Faculak, Chairperson.
• Members Present: Faculak, Spearing, Sundelius, Wallace, and Randall. • Members Absent: Campbell, Swailes, and Palajac.
Others Present: Pro Image
Approval of the Agenda:
A motion to approve the agenda was made by Wallace and seconded by Randall. Motion carried by unanimous consent.
Approval of the Minutes:
A motion to approve the Meeting Minutes from February 27, 2023 was made by Randall and Wallace.
Motion carried by unanimous consent.
Treasurer’s Report: (Lynn Spearing for Ginny McCallum) The balance is currently $15,214.48. She will provide a budget by the next meeting and email one to Spearing.
Chair Report: (Mary Faculak) Spearing presented the Concerts on the Square:

*Help will be needed to host the concerts and to be present at 6 pm to give assistance and direction to bands. Spearing will create a list of duties. *Spearing will purchase a cooler and supply water for the bands.
• Marketing and Branding – Matt McCorwick with Pro Image attended the meeting to answer any questions about the branding process, sign placement, & styles. He spoke about placing “dimensional headers” on placard signs and gave examples of East Jordan and Charlevoix by placing elements from the logo on top of the sign. We definitely want a fieldstone base and need to decide on sign material. Wood, metal, or pvc and how much of the logo needs to be on each sign along with which elements. Matt will come back with examples for us for the existing signs.
Faculak suggested that we need a work session to decide what we want for the other signs and placement.
● A Wayfinding Work Session was planned for April 17th at 4:30 pm at Town Hall. DDA will attend the township meeting afterwards at 6:00 pm.

The next regular meeting will be held on April 24th, 2023 at 5:00 pm at Banks Township Hall located at 6520 Center St., Ellsworth 231-588-7411.
